Email scanlystudio.support@proton.me and a person will answer. Please say which phone you are on and what you were doing when it went wrong. It usually saves a round trip.
Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, not by us, so they are cancelled in the Play Store rather than in the app: Google Play Store → your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Secret Santa Name Draw → Cancel subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the period you have already paid for runs out.
If you bought the lifetime option, there is nothing to cancel: it is a one-time purchase and it does not renew.
Where a plan includes a free trial, its length and the price charged afterwards are shown on the plan screen before you confirm. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you are not charged.
Tap Restore on the plan screen. That asks Google Play for purchases made with the Google account currently signed in to the Play Store, so if you bought it with a different Google account, switch to that one first. If Restore still finds nothing, email us with the receipt Google sent you and we will sort it out.
Payments are processed by Google Play. Request a refund through Google Play (Google Play refund help) using the Google account you bought with. Tell us what went wrong anyway: it is how the app gets better.
After the draw, tap a person to send them their match, or use Send to everyone to go through the list one by one. Each send opens your phone’s share sheet with a ready-made message; pick the app and the person. A person is marked “Shared” once the share sheet has opened for them. That only means you sent it, not that they have read it.
Add the pair as an exclusion before drawing (for example, partners). The draw then never matches those two with each other. Changing people or exclusions after a draw clears the result, so draw again before sending.
Everything you enter lives only on the phone you entered it on. There is no account or cloud copy on our side, so the app cannot move it for you.
Your entries are stored on your phone and nowhere else, so deleting the app deletes them. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
